Terms & Conditions

The Curious Edit is a digital publishing brand owned and operated by Noabill Beauty Ltd. All purchases through thecuriousedit.co.uk are sold and supplied by Noabill Beauty Ltd.

These terms apply to purchases of our digital guides.

Our company and contact details appear at the end.

1. Your purchase

Each purchase is a one-off payment for a digital guide. There is no subscription, monthly payment or ongoing payment commitment. No physical product will be posted to you.

Each product page describes the guide’s contents, language, file format and any specific technical requirements. Unless stated otherwise, our guides are English-language PDF files.

You will need an internet connection to download your guide and a compatible device with software capable of opening PDF files.

Your purchase includes the edition described when you order. Future editions, other guides and additional services are not included unless expressly stated.

2. Prices and payment

The price of each guide is displayed on its product page. The total payable, including any applicable taxes and discounts, is shown before you complete your purchase. Our store’s primary currency is pounds sterling (GBP). Where supported, checkout may offer payment in your local currency. The converted amount and payment currency will be displayed before you confirm payment. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own fees. Payment is due in full using an available checkout payment method. Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. Changes will not affect orders already accepted.

3. Placing your order

Please check your selected guide, email address, payment currency and total before completing your purchase. We accept your order when we send your order confirmation following successful payment. This creates a purchase agreement for the digital guide, with no ongoing subscription. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for the unavailable product. Please retain your order confirmation for your records.

4. Delivery and download access

After successful payment, your guide will be available through the checkout confirmation page and/or a download email sent to the address supplied at checkout. The initial download link expires 24 hours after purchase. This limits how long the link remains active; it does not limit how long you may read or use the guide once you have saved it. Please download and save your guide to your own device. If the link expires, clicking it will normally trigger a replacement download link sent to the email address used for your purchase.

A replacement email is not automatically sent simply because you have not downloaded the guide.

If you cannot obtain a replacement link, have not received your download email or experience another access problem, check your spam folder and contact admin@thecuriousedit.co.uk with your order number.

After verifying your purchase, we will arrange a refreshed link or another copy of the purchased guide at no additional charge.

An expired link does not require you to purchase the guide again and does not remove your statutory rights.

5. Personal use and copyright

Each purchase gives one reader a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the guide. You may save the guide on your own devices and print a copy for your own reference.

Without our prior written permission, you must not: - Share, resell, sublicense or distribute the guide or its download link. - Upload the guide to a public website, shared drive or other location accessible to additional readers. - Reproduce or adapt the guide for commercial distribution. - Distribute copies as part of a course, training programme or workplace resource.

Contact admin@thecuriousedit.co.uk about team use, multiple-reader licences or other permissions. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with Noabill Beauty Ltd or the relevant rights holders.

These terms do not restrict uses permitted by applicable copyright law.

6. Cancellation and immediate downloads

UK consumer law normally gives you 14 days, beginning the day after the purchase agreement is made, to cancel without giving a reason. This applies to one-off digital purchases as well as other qualifying online purchases. To receive your guide immediately, you must expressly consent at checkout to supply during this cancellation period and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once the download begins. Once your download begins with that consent and acknowledgement, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds, including where the guide does not meet your personal preferences.

We will confirm your immediate-download consent and acknowledgement in your purchase confirmation.

If you do not wish to consent to immediate supply, contact us before ordering to arrange delivery after the cancellation period.

Where your cancellation right still applies, email admin@thecuriousedit.co.uk before the cancellation period ends. You may use the cancellation form below, but any clear statement of your decision to cancel is sufficient. We will make any refund due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.

We will not charge a refund fee. Nothing in this section removes your rights where the guide is faulty, not as described, not of satisfactory quality or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

7. Faults and purchase problems

Your digital guide must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose we have agreed with you, and as described. If you receive an incorrect guide, a corrupted file or content that does not meet these requirements, contact admin@thecuriousedit.co.uk with your order number and details of the problem.

Where required by law, we will repair or replace the content at no charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Where the legal conditions for a price reduction or refund are met, we will provide the remedy to which you are entitled. If our digital content damages your device or other digital content because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, you may also be entitled to repair or compensation.

8. Educational information

Our guides provide general educational information, perspectives and practical suggestions. They do not provide personalised legal, financial, medical or psychological advice. Examples are illustrative.

Consider your own circumstances and seek appropriate professional advice where needed. We do not guarantee a particular career, financial or personal outcome. This does not affect our obligation to supply content that matches its description and meets your statutory rights.

9. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Privacy and marketing

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We may send emails necessary to process your purchase, deliver your guide and resolve order-related problems.

Purchasing a guide does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Marketing signup is separate and optional.

11. Questions and complaints

For questions, download assistance or complaints, email admin@thecuriousedit.co.uk. Include your order number where available and explain your concern. We will investigate and aim to resolve it promptly and fairly.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence and any rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Changes to these terms

The terms provided when you place your order apply to that purchase. Later changes apply to future purchases unless required by law or expressly agreed with you.
